Directions For Use:

Adults, take 3 capsules 1 to 3 times daily with water or unsweetened juice, such as cranberry.

Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

1 capsule typically provides:

D-Mannose       500mg

Ingredients: 

D-Mannose, Capsule Shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate.

Cautions:

Side Effects:

Side effects of D-Mannose in humans may include:

• diarrhea
• nausea

Higher than recommended doses of D-Mannose may cause kidney damage.

Contraindications:

D-mannose supplements should be used with caution if you have Diabetes, as it may make it harder to control your blood sugars.

You should not take supplements as a substitute for a varied balanced diet or
healthy lifestyle.

Dosage:

Barberras D-Mannose is suitable for cats and dogs.

It comes in a 2 piece capsule so is easy to pull apart and mix the powder with food.

As a suggested dose we would recommend:

• up to 10kg, in weight, 1-2 capsules per day
• 10kg to 25kg, in weight, 3-4 capsules per day
• Over 25kg, in weight, up to and no more than 6 capsules per day

Side Effects:

Although tolerated in the majority of people, some side effects of D-Mannose in dogs and cats can include:

• Diarrhea
• Vomitting

Regardless, if your dog or cat does not seem to tolerate it, or you feel something is wrong, get in touch with a vet straight away as some dogs and cats may be intolerant to it.

Contraindications:

D-Mannose, as it is a natural sugar, is contraindicated in dogs and cats with Diabetes, as it can make it difficult to control blood sugar levels.
