Directions For Use:

Adults, take 1-2 capsules daily with water and food.

Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

1 capsule typically provides:

Green Lipped Mussel 500mg

Vitamin C 12 - 15% (NRV*)

NRV* = Nutrient Reference Intake

Ingredients: 

Green Lipped Mussel (Molluscs), Capsule Shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Bulking Agent: Brown Rice Flour, Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid).

Dosage:

Barberras Green Lipped Mussel supplement is perfect for use in dogs and cats as well as humans.

Dogs per 10 kg: 0.5 g (500mg) daily

Cats: 0.5 g (500mg) daily

If needed, the recommended amount can be increased to double. However, to acclimatize, start with 50% of the daily dose for 3 - 5 days.

The capsule can easily opened and the powder then easily mixed with the food in the that first 3-5 days. After the acclimatizing period, full capsules can be given.

Cautions:

While rare, some dogs may be allergic to shellfish and experience itching, skin irritation, difficulty breathing, or swelling around the face or throat.

If you are not aware whether your dog is allergic, place a small amount on the gum and if there is a reaction, do not use further. Should there be an extreme reaction to this small test, please contact your local veterinarian practice immediately.

Side Effects:

Although tolerated in the majority of people, some side effects of Green Lipped Mussel supplements in dogs and cats can include:

• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Flatulence

Contraindications:
